He specializes in palmar (hands) and plantar (feet) hyperhidrosis and performs both the Endoscopic Thoracic Sympathectomy and the Endoscopic Lumbar Sympathectomy. He has been featured in newspapers, magazines, and television reports nationwide. He has also contributed greatly to this area of medicine publishing multiple peer reviewed medical papers to share his knowledge and experience in hopes of advancing treatment for everyone suffering from excessive sweating. He often gives lectures and travels around the world to share his unique knowledge.
Dr. Rafael Reisfeld is a Board-Certified surgeon, and Diplomat of the American Board of Surgery. He has been in practice since 1980, dedicating his career to hyperhidrosis. Dr. Reisfeld is a graduate of the prestigious Hadassa Medical School of the Hebrew University in Israel. His surgical residency was completed at the University of Toronto.
