An experienced orthopedic surgeon, Dr. Yaghoobian has an extensive educational background in this specialty area and has published widely in both orthopedics and spinal disorders.

He earned his undergraduate degree in Microbiology and Molecular Genetics from University of California, Los Angeles and then went on to medical school at Albert Einstein College of Medicine in New York. After completing his medical degree, Dr. Yaghoobian did a year of research at AECOM Orthopaedic Basic Science Laboratory before completing his surgical internship and a residency in orthopedics at Montefiore/Jacobi Medical Centers in New York. In 2010 – 11, Dr. Yaghoobian did a fellowship in spinal surgery at the prestigious Beth Israel Medical Center Spine Institute of New York while serving as an attending physician at the Jacob Trauma Institute for Orthopaedic Trauma.

Dr. Yaghoobian’s numerous publications include co-authorship of a book entitled Spinal Disorders and Nerve Compression Syndromes, Principals and Practice of Geriatric Surgery and several articles in medical research journals.
