He is one of only seven interventional pain management anesthesiologists in the nation and the only one in the State of California that is also sub- specialized in the field of Headache Medicine by the United Council for Neurologic Subspecialties (UCNS). These unique trainings and qualifications allows for the most advanced, multidisciplinary and cutting edge management of not only all types of headache including migraines but also other types of chronic painful disorders including back , neck, and Knee pain.

Headaches
Headache is a term used to describe aching or pain that occurs in one or more areas of the head, face, mouth, or neck. Headache can be chronic, recurrent, or occasional. The pain can be mild or severe enough to disrupt daily activities. Headaches involve the network of nerve fibers in the tissues, muscles, and blood vessels located in the head and at the base of the skull.

• Migraine Headaches
• Trigeminal Neuralgia
• Whiplash Headache
• Cluster Headaches
• Tension Headaches

There are two major classes of headaches:
Primary headaches account for about 90% of all headaches. Mainly there are three types of primary headaches:

• Tension Headache
• Cluster Headache
• Migraine

Secondary headache is associated with an underlying condition such as cerebrovascular disease, head trauma, infection, tumor, and metabolic disorder (e.g., diabetes, thyroid disease). Head pain also can result from syndromes involving the eyes, ears, neck, teeth, or sinuses. In these cases, the underlying condition must be diagnosed and treated. Also, certain types of medication produce headache as a side effect.

Regenerative Medicine
Finally there is a way to relieve your pain without surgery or medication. You can restore the quality of your life through stem cell and platelet rich plasma therapy. Whether it’s neck, shoulder, arm, back, leg, or foot pain, have peace of mind knowing that Dr. Taimoorazy, a highly qualified physician and regenerative medicine specialist, may provide the right treatment plan for your specific needs.

Greatly reduce the need for surgery by treating injured tissues before the damage progresses any further. Imagine alleviating your knee pain without having to get a knee replacement. The goal of regenerative therapy is to heal injured tissue and not just mask the pain.

• Quicker Healing Process

Regenerative therapy has helped many professionals and athletes heal rapidly from an injury and back to full activity. Regenerative therapy procedures are ideal for individuals who face ailments such as back pain, knee arthritis, tendonitis, ACL injuries, arthritis of the knee, hip or shoulder, rotator cuff tears, tennis elbow, hip bursitis, patellar tendon injury, plantar fasciitis, and Achilles tendon injuries.

• PRP Therapy
• Stem Cell Therapy

Back Pain
Backs are designed to withstand quite a lot of stress. Structurally speaking, our spine (backbone) provides structure enabling us to move. Every twist, bend, and nod we make with our body is dependent on the parts of the spine working together. Starting at the base of the skull and ending at the tailbone, the 33 vertebrae and spongy discs that separate and cushion them enable us to move by infinitesimal degrees rather than being, well, stiff as a board. Dr. Taimoorazy treats a number of back pain issues:

• Facet Joint Syndrome
• Herniated Discs
• Degenerative Disc Disease
• Lumbar Radiculopathy
• Cervical Radiculopathy
• Whiplash
• Piriformis Syndrome

Interventional Spine Procedures

• Cervical Epidural Steroid Injection
• Cervical Transformanimal Epidural Steroid Injection
• Facet Joint Injections
• Medial Branch Block
• Lumbar Epidural Steroid Injection
• Lumbar Transformanimal Epidural Injection
• Lumbar Radio-frequency Neurotomy
• Sacroiliac Joint Steroid Injection
• Cervical Facet Radio frequency Neurotomy
• Stellate Ganglion Block
• Kyphoplasty
• Spinal Cord Stimulator
• Caudal Steroid Injection
